Absolutely! The cheek swab is completely Non-Invasive, Gentle, and Painless. You simply rub the swab inside your dog’s cheek for 30 seconds — no needles or blood required.

After collecting the DNA sample, visit Activate My Kit page and enter the Unique code inside your kit. You’ll fill in a few quick details about your dog to ensure the sample is properly linked to your account.

Your results will be ready in about 6-8 weeks from the date the sample reaches our lab. (All good things take time!)

If you’re testing more than one furry companion, please complete the entire process — swabbing, activating the kit, and scheduling the pickup — for one dog at a time and then start the next. This ensures each sample stays perfectly matched to the right dog’s unique code, keeping results accurate and reliable.

Yes! Absolutely.
Our test is suitable for dogs of all ages, but we recommend testing puppies that are at least 8 weeks old to ensure a sufficient DNA yield.

Once you’ve activated your kit, simply schedule your free doorstep pickup.
A courier will collect the sealed envelope provided in your kit and deliver it safely to our testing facility. All you need to do is sit back, relax, and let us handle the rest.

Yes! We absolutely recommend sharing the report with your Vet since it includes Medical Insights and Genetic flags that can support preventive care plans.
