Go beyond Symptoms, Go Genetic!
Keeping your dog mentally engaged is just as important as physical exercise. Mental stimulation prevents boredom, reduces anxiety, and curbs destructive behavior. Here are some simple yet effective ways: Interactive Toys – Use treat-dispensing toys or puzzles to challenge their brain. Snuffle Mats – Hide treats in these mats to encourage sniffing and searching. Training Sessions – Teach new commands or tricks for mental engagement. Hide & Seek – Hide treats or toys around the house for them to find. DIY Obstacle Courses – Use furniture or cushions to create a mini agility course. Rotate Toys – Swap toys every few days to keep things interesting. Scent Games – Let your dog sniff out a specific item or treat. Name Your Toys – Teach them names for their favorite toys for fetch or retrieval games. Interactive Feeders – Use slow-feeders or food puzzles during mealtime. Play Dates or Virtual Dog TV – Social or visual stimulation can also help!
👉 Tip: Mental stimulation doesn't require hours—just 10–15 minutes a day can make a big difference.
